Goat Meet n’ Greet: Asun as possible (2023)

Let’s have a goat meet and greet next month at Mike’s house. Now there is a matter of a full guest list, but if Revenge Against The Ram was anything to go by, I know that a quarter of the people that RSVP’d won’t show up.

Okay, that was a bit abrasive. Let us try this again.

Let us have a goat meet and greet as soon as possible. The location is the same; this time it is about the Greatest (meat) Of All Time. If you care to disagree, come and eat the goat meat we have first and then we can have a conversation.

What is the menu like?

Grilled Chevron

Word on the street says grilled mutton is better than grilled goat meat. Well, our grill guy, Murtala, is returning for an encore. Perhaps, he can put this argument to rest. I’ve talked to him already. he can even help buy the goat.

Goated Rice

Our rice guy, Shaa, is also returning to cook rice for us all. Maybe he’d have learned a thing or two from cooking school. Maybe he will whip out his Biryani recipe? Who knows?

Asun

A goat meat and greet without a’sun is simply an eclipse. And yes, if you (want to) know how to make Asun, I will need your help.

Now unto the budget, which has always been ₦100,000

A small list of things to have fun

GoatFundMe: ₦7,000 minimum

We should have only 15 people. That is what I think the space can carry without us sliding against each other. If we all contribute ₦7,000 equally, we can raise ₦105,000, which should be enough to ensure we also fill Michael’s refrigerator with leftovers for two weeks.
